Some News and...A Story

Right now ( I can't believe this) Big Baby is reading "Easy Japanese." With my sweet tooth leading me on, I mosied into the kitchen to have a chit chat with the gummy bears. Once their canister was in my arms, all those translucent bears began bouncing downward until the whole jar was bounced right out of my arms and was rolling on the floor. I swear this is the truth. I finally snagged them with my Mock Tazar Cloaking method. They never knew what hit 'em. I could've been happy to leave the Orange ones behind but the rest of the bears put up such a fuss that I was obliged to take them just to get the others to shut up.
Today I bought a mood ring for $1.99. It's very very cool. Right now it's dark blue which I think means that I am happy, relaxed, and romantic. As Kronk would say...weird. I have no idea what the other colours mean because I forgot to grab the little card with the diagram on it. Oh I know, dark blue means I'm forgetful which would then be totally true. I'm certain that I have aspartame poisoning because I am worryingly forgetful. I can remember lots of things except for the important things. As Agent J would say...see how I am.
This morning was very interesting. I woke up at 2 am to a strange noise outside. Quietly donning black clothing, and arming myself with the .38 Special, I stole out the back door to investigate. Keeping close to the side of the house, I trotted around to the front. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary so I holstered my weapon and turned to let myself in. Like a disembodied shadow, a dark figure dropped from the roof and, before I could even think to react, delivered a stunning blow to the back of my head. The world went black.
I finally came to in the back of a moving vehicle. The seats were comfortable but they smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The smell became even worse after my full senses were recovered and I realized that I was lying face down with my nose right in the ash tray. I checked for my gun but it was gone. Then I began to hear low voices with thick British accents:
"She's alot younger than I expected."A deep, growly voice.
"Maybe she's their daughter." This voice was younger and shaky.
"She's still to young. Their daughter is useless to us anyway. She knows nothing about The Mouse."
"Well, then who is she?"
"How am I supposed to know?" The voice became angry. "You're the one who snatched her! You tell me!"
I wasn't sure what to do. I could see reflected in the dark windshield that the digital compass was pointing West. We were leaving Randle. I uttered a soft groan and the conversation in the front cut short.

Ack! I'm in suspense... What's going to happen next?! :)

By the way, I don't really like the orange ones either. I like the clear ones best. (I think they have less food coloring, hehehe.- did you ever see the "Wedding Planner," where he says that the "brown M&M's have less food coloring, 'cause chocolate's already brown.") :)
Love, Sheli
